As if making every Sunday a football holiday wasn’t enough, the NFL will now be launching NFL Now, so that one can get up-to-the-minute highlights of NFL games while, heaven forbid, one is forced to leave their couch. The service will be provided for most mobile devices as well as internet-TV devices.

The service will include highlights from games while they’re happening but it won’t be a streaming service. Currently, NFL Now is slated to provide over 100 hours of original programming a week and can be accessed from “Roku, Apple TV, Microsoft Xbox and Amazon Fire TV; on Android, Apple iOS and Windows Mobile smartphones; and on Android, iOS, Amazon Kindle Fire and Windows tablets. In addition, NFL Now will be distributed via Yahoo Screen and Yahoo Sports.”

For $1.99 a month, subscribers can get highlights instantly (they’ll be delayed in the free version) and customized streams of a person’s favorite player, team or even fantasy league players.

And you thought the NFL was taking up enough hours of your life.
