The confusing world of on-air sports personalities, analysts and commentators became even more disturbing on Wednesday, as FOX announced that Donovan McNabb will call a handful of NFL games this season.

He will rotate with Brady Quinn and former NFL linebacker Kirk Morrison as analysts alongside the always-professional Dick Stockton. McNabb has made television appearances in various capacities, including his most recent gig on Fox Sports 1, since retiring after the 2011 season.

The former QB has infamously stumbled into an odd broadcasting career, one that should have ended before it started, with a bevy of uneducated opinions, run-on sentences and baffling side comments.
