What happens when illogical sports fandom is taken too far? You strive to receive 22 signature tattoos from every Washington Redskins starter.

That is exactly what 41-year-old Charlie White is attempting during the team’s training camp. The Skins superfan is asking each starter to sign his arm, which then is transferred into permanent tattoo ink.

“I want all 22 starters,” White, donning a DeSean Jackson jersey, told ESPN on Monday. “I believe in getting starters on my arm for a reason. It’s because I bleed burgundy and gold.”

Names such as DeAngelo Hall, DeSean Jackson and Robert Griffin III should be household names for a couple more decades but do you really want to be rolling around with a Shawn Lauvao or Perry Riley tattoo for the next 50 years?

Despite an unsettled depth chart this early in camp, White still requested names of players that might not crack the starting lineup, such as Santana Moss and Brandon Meriweather.
