Electronic Arts has announced a new subscription service through Xbox One that will allow players to buy monthly or yearly subscriptions to have unlimited access to a few of the company’s titles.

The service will be called “EA Access” and for $5 a month, subscribers will be able to access “The Vault,” which initially won’t be nearly as impressive as it sounds. As of now, “The Vault” contains four EA titles, which makes it less of a “Vault” and more of a “Sampling.” To be fair to EA though, the four games that will be initially available include the titles that one would undoubtedly care about.

The games that will be available on EA Access for now are FIFA 14, Peggle 2, Madden NFL 25 and Battlefield 4.

After all, who can get enough of Peggle 2?

If that isn’t enough to sway people, EA is also giving subscribers of EA Access a 10 percent discount on all of their digital content and access to upcoming EA titles up to five days in advance of the general release.

“Membership in EA Access lets you experience trials of new EA games up to five days before the release date. It starts with Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, but more are on the way.”

So, for those who really want to get in an extra competitive edge when it comes to Madden or FIFA and you own an Xbox One, here’s your chance to get in some extra practice before your friends get their grubby hands on the games.

Although there is no date for a general release yet, EA will be rolling the service out to a small number of users starting today.
