In an awesome example of cross-promotion, the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will be holding a ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night’ at the ballpark this Saturday.

As Michael Bay’s reboot of the classic franchise is set to hit theaters in a couple of weeks, the Grizzlies will be wearing special TMNT jerseys during the game against the Salt Lake Bees this weekend. They’ll also be selling all four of the jersey/hat color combinations – blue, yellow, purple and red – which represent the colors worn by each of the four mutant turtles.

The jerseys will probably wind up looking pretty silly on the field but they’ll probably sell quite a bit of merchandise as a result of the gimmick. If nothing else, the unique jerseys and hats will be a cool addition to any fan’s collection of memorabilia.
