This isn’t the best look for the Baltimore Ravens.

The team just published an idiotic article on its website that defends Ray Rice. Want a sneak preview?

I liked Ray Rice a lot then. I like Ray Rice a lot today.” — Kevin Byrne, Senior VP, Public & Community Relations

The NFL punished Ray Rice with a two-game suspension and a third game check. He will lose 3/17 of his salary.” — Byrne

He got himself into that situation, and he’s paying for it. ” — Byrne

Apparently, Byrne’s idea of a punishment is a two-game suspension and 3/17 of his salary… But don’t worry, it’s not just the VP. The owner, Steve Bisciotti also weighed in:

He has shown remorse after a bad incident.”

Apparently, this is Bisciotti’s idea of remorse:

The article goes on to tell us two stories about Ray Rice that “media doesn’t see or care to cover.” But don’t worry:

I share them not to try to get sympathy for Rice. I share them to let you see what we see.”

The first story is about Rice working out alone. An excerpt:

A subdued Rice said: ‘I’ve been trying to come in the building and work out when no one is here. I’m not sure anyone wants to see me. I’m so sorry, and I’m embarrassed. And, I don’t want to make any of the women feel uncomfortable.’

Wow.”

Wow. You can read the full story here.
