With the score knotted at two in the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday, Brian McCann found himself at the plate with a chance to break the tie and give the Yankees the series sweep over the Reds. McCann did that — he provided the game-winning single. Only, it wasn’t the prettiest way to get credited with a walk-off hit.
