The Myrtle Beach Pelicans – single-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers – are set to host a Prostate Awareness night at their stadium during a home game this week, and the team’s general manager is ready to go to unprecedented lengths to spread the word.

Not only will the team be handing out 1,000 foam fingers with blue ribbons, but Pelicans’ GM Andy Milovich has also agreed to get a prostate exam during the game. Milovich will get checked during the game’s seventh-inning stretch while singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” in the stadium’s radio booth, which will most likely be a hilariously awkward experience for everyone in attendance.

Milovich’s only requirement is that the Facebook page of local 10-year-old Fallon Emery, who is battling brain cancer, reaches 10,000 fans by noon on Thursday. As of writing this, Fallon’s page has over 8,700 likes so it looks like there’s a pretty good chance this thing is gonna actually happen.

You can go like her page here to get the GM one step closer to a finger up his butt in front of thousands of people. That’s as good a motivation as any, really.
