I legitimately just yelled in the office because I’m so damn excited. DirecTV, which has enjoyed being the only cable TV provider to offer NFL Sunday Ticket, is finally going to allow non DirecTV users to purchase NFL Sunday Ticket. For $199, you can stream the game to your Apple device. From Apple Insider:

Satellite television provider DirecTV looks set to offer a standalone subscription to its popular NFL Sunday Ticket package for the first time, meaning cord-cutting football fans can follow the action this fall on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac without mounting a dish to their roof.”

You can also pay $239 if you want to use your gaming console to stream.

It’s brutal, being a Bears fan living in the Bay Area. Not only do Bears games get pushed away from my TV because the Niners are playing, but also because the Raiders are playing. Now, I can watch all of J-Cutty’s touchdown bombs to Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery …. for $200, but still, I’ll take it.

Apparently the news isn’t 100 percent confirmed, but the promotional page above is 100 percent real. Booyah!
