The truly tragic thing about Thomas Robinson’s dunk attempt is that the setup was so perfect.

There was no one between Robinson and the basket. He had stolen the ball. He got a step on all of the defenders. He had momentum flying towards the hoop. And then he apparently lost track of where the basket actually was on the court.

Robinson jumped too late and tried to compensate for a failed dunk attempt with a Dr. J layup imitation that fell well short of the mark.

For reference, we almost had something resembling this:

.embed-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; height: auto; } .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }

but this is what we got.
