In an awesome example of being in the right place at the right time, a vendor at yesterday’s Tigers-Athletics game caught a line drive foul ball right in his bucket of beer. The vendor snagged the liner off the bat of Ian Kinsler in the 8th inning and handed the souvenir off to a young fan in his section.
Oddly enough, he’s not the first beer vendor to make a nice grab using his bucket this year. Foul balls apparently love beer, just like the rest of us.
