As many of you are well aware, Tony Parker and Boris Diaw, two of the key players on the San Antonio Spurs’ 2013-14 championship team, have been teammates since long before their NBA career paths intersected in Texas. Video has surfaced of the pair working out together in France in 1999, when both Parker and Diaw were 17 years old and not yet members of France’s senior men’s basketball team. While the two achieved their greatest international success (a silver medal) at the 2006 FIBA World Championships (now World Cup), it would take eight more years to reach the pinnacle of NBA success — together, that is.
