Even ‘Jeopardy!’ contestants who seemingly know every obscure ruler of nations you’ve never heard of and capitols of countries you aren’t sure exist don’t know how many schools are in the Big Ten.

Which, quite strangely, is understandable. The Big Ten hasn’t been ten schools since 1990 when the conference added Penn State.

The answer is 14 by the way.
