I’m sure Landon Donovan was pretty disappointed about being left off the USMNT for this year’s World Cup but, to his credit, he seems to be handling it pretty well.
Not only will Donovan serve as an ESPN analyst for the tournament, he’ll also be sticking to his day job and playing in a few games for the Los Angeles Galaxy as well. He also seems to have a decent sense of humor about his surprising snub, appearing in this new promo – in the full USMNT kit – from the Galaxy which bears the message “Skip Work. Watch The World Cup.”
Props to Donovan for being such a good sport. If he needs someone to play foosball with to keep his mind off things, I will gladly step up and be that hero.
