When the news broke in late May that Jenny Dell was leaving NESN after being re-assigned from Red Sox coverage, we knew it wouldn’t be long before she joined on board elsewhere. Today, CBS announced that they have hired Dell to be a sideline reporter for their NFL coverage.

The former Red Sox sideline reporter was reassigned to a less prominent anchor/reporter role at NESN this winter after she and Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks went public with their ongoing relationship.
Definitely a good get for CBS. Best of luck to Dell in her new gig, which hopefully will bring more Gatorade baths…
