JordanApparently, it’s Air Jordan Week on these Internet streets. First, it was Eric Snow auctioning off a signed, game-worn pair of the best basketball shoe in history — the black and red Jordan XI. Now, we have some concept art of another Air Jordan — the not-quite-as-coveted Jordan XIII, but in a colorway that would send both Jordan and sci-fi fanboys into a tizzy if it ever turned into a real thing.

French artist Romain Trystram mixed pop culture with sneaker culture in order to create digital renderings of some of  history’s most famous footwear, starting with the Jordan XIII — a design that, even without digital enhancement, always resembled something from out of this world. View the rest of his shoe-inspired art here, where he sends the Jordan I into the ocean, while also paying homage to “Daft Pump”.
