Colin Kaepernick made waves on Wednesday when it was announced that he and the 49ers had agreed to a contract extension which will keep Kaepernick in San Francisco until 2020. The contract could be worth more than $110 million and pays $61 million in guaranteed money.

In what has become an annual tradition at this point, Kaepernick’s new extension sets a new record in terms of guaranteed money in an NFL contact.
