Jack White has had himself quite the past few weeks leading up to the release of his sophomore album, Lazaretto.

First, he was on the cover of the latest Rolling Stone.  Then made headlines for his comments from the interview regarding the Black Keys. Shortly after he released a covers album with Neil Young recorded in a straight-to-vinyl recording booth at Third Man Records.  Theeeen he released an apology regarding those Black Keys comments.  So he’s had quite a roller coaster few weeks.  Either way, the man still makes my all-time favorite music whether it be his solo stuff, White Stripes, Raconteurs, or Dead Weather.

Lazaretto is White’s second solo album and it is now streaming a week early of its release, thanks to iTunes Radio.  If you’re really into White’s music and everything he does (like myself…) then pick up the “Ultra LP” which contains every gimmick you could think of on a vinyl record.  This just proves that Jack White is truly the Willy Wonka of the music industry.
