Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish is on the hill for the team’s game Friday night against the Toronto Blue Jays at Globe Life Park. As usual, Darvish’s fastball has frequently hit 95 mph on the radar gun in this game, and he’s even dropping some offspeed pitches all the way down to 63 mph. Yes, a 30+ mph difference in velocity.

The Blue Jays’ Adam Lind was grinding out a nice at-bat against Darvish in the top of the second inning, fouling off variations of  fastballs and breaking pitches. After six straight foul balls from Lind, Darvish finally decided to try a very unique pitch to get Lind out on the tenth pitch of the at-bat.
