If this is a hoax I am going to be a very unhappy camper. I am currently downloading the app, but I guess you need to actually get the device (which you can get here) . Regardless, this is a brilliant invention which is probably only rivaled by the wheel, cheese, and the space heater. Can someone send me the damn add-on please?
According to the LA Times:
The app is already available to download, free in the Apple iTunes store. It features a skillet clock and the sound of sizzling bacon. But if you want the entire bacon-alarm clock package, you have to apply online, by April 4, for a chance to win one of the limited-edition devices. Winners will receive their devices six to eight weeks after the applications close. They will not be available for sale in any stores.
