DamonAlbarn2Damon Albarn, the creative mind and front man of the highly praised bands Gorillaz and Blur, has announced a solo 12-track LP titled Everyday Robots, due for release April 29th. For the millions of fans that follow the routinely cryptic work of the Gorillaz, this is a pleasant surprise, as no new music has been released since 2010 when they dropped both the critically acclaimed Plastic Beach, and then later in the year an unexpected album called The Fall.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Damon doesn’t speak of any current projects in the works with the Gorillaz for 2014, but his fans will gladly welcome any creative efforts he unveils. The video for the new single, Everyday Robots, gives listeners a taste of what to expect on the upcoming LP.
