Boston Market Twitter Account Hilariously Gives Kellen Winslow Jr. The Business

We mentioned earlier today that Kellen Winslow Jr. had been caught in a very precarious position outside of a Target last November, and it appears that the Boston Market twitter account got a hold of the story as well which broke today.  To be very clear, the Boston Market Twitter account isn’t officially verified so we can’t confirm if it is the legit Boston Market account or not.  That won’t stop us from laughing and writing about it though…

As a refresher here is what was reported earlier courtesy of NJ.com writer Dom Cosentino who got a hold of the the East Hanover police incident report, which indicates that the New York Jets tight end may have been ‘pleasuring himself’ in his car while he was approached by a witness:

As she exited her vehicle, she commented to the male regarding how cold it was. As she stood near the open driver side window of the Escalade, she observed the males [sic] erect penis. She stated that she believed he was masturbating. [The woman] provided a written statement regarding her account.By the time police arrived, an officer found Winslow allegedly “slouched in his seat and moving around.” Winslow sprang to an upright position when the officer arrived. When the cop asked Winslow what he was doing, Winslow allegedly said he was looking for Boston Market but was lost.

It should be noted that Kellen’s team released a statement denying the allegations which read as follows:

“Kellen pulled over to a parking lot to smoke what he thought at the time was a legal substance. He changed his clothes in his vehicle as not to smell like smoke when he returned home.  There was absolutely nothing inappropriate that took place and if there was police would have investigated further and charged Kellen which they did not. This will be the only time we will comment on this unfounded and ridiculous claim.”

Fast forward to a few hours later and enter Boston Market’s social media folks with a Tweet for the ages.

Social media 101 requires the perfect amount of trolling, and it appears that Boston Market knows that quite well.
