If there’s one thing we learned in last year’s playoffs — and a small sample size this season — never underestimate Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Scott Brooks attempting to lead a Russell Westbrook-less squad into battle. The woefully underachieving Brooklyn Nets would agree with that notion, as they somehow found themselves tied with Oklahoma City — on the road, no less — Thursday night, and with one final play to run before overtime. Of course, the Nets put the ball in the hands of one of the most clutch shooters in the NBA, Joe Johnson, whose late game heroics have been just about the only constant in Brooklyn this season.

Johnson quickly went to work, forcing poor Serge Ibaka to flail about in an attempt to stop the game-winning shot. Ibaka could only watch as Johnson’s shot secured an improbable 95-93 win.
