New York Knicks v Indiana Pacers - Game Three

Since the NBA so rudely excluded the Indiana Pacers from Christmas Day in favor of the Knicks and Nets (who both lost by north of 20 points in unsatisfying and dull early games, Roy Hibbert had some free time on his hands.

So ESPN on NBA gave Hibbert access to their Twitter account for a little while on Christmas Day and immediately things got off on the wrong foot when ESPN published an article about Hibbert and C.J. McCollum taking over the account… and used a picture of Ian Mahinmi instead, triggering everyone’s unspoken awkward social media gaffe alarm.

Not exactly sure what to make of this, but it’s possible?

Next we played a little drinking game. For those of you that missed the Lakers/Heat contest, there were only two drinks, but if you were playing the “take a drink every time LeBron does something sick,” sorry about the hospitalization.

Lastly, Roy posed us a legitimate question that has been at the forefront of the minds of many of us concerned folk. Also, can these commercials be over now? Please.

All in all, productive day for Hibbert, although he and the Pacers, who are tied for the best record in the NBA, would’ve loved to play on Christmas. Sadly, however, they were likely omitted due playing in a small market with low ratings (as were the Blazers). Santa Stern requires you to have a few years of success before you’re allowed to play on Christmas. Tough shake.
