You want basketball? Well then. Jalen Rose told me that I’ve “Got to give the people, Give the People what they want!”. I will not disappoint you Mr. Rose. With the NBA in full swing it is time to look at the best NBA gambling lines of the day. This series will be a near daily occurrence so be sure to keep up with our picks and send us your favorites @NImpulseSports on Twitter.  Let’s get in to it!

Knicks +7.5 @ Blazers

The Knicks have looked awful for most of the season and their 3-9 record reflects it. The Trail Blazers, on the other hand, are an incredibly surprising 12-2 and have won 10 straight games. The Blazers are due for a setback at some point and will regress over the course of the season. The Knicks can be one of the toughest teams to defend when their outside shooting is clicking. Portland doesn’t have a ton of perimeter defenders outside of Wes Matthews meaning if the Knicks catch fire from deep then they should have a good chance at winning. The Knicks might not win tonight, but they should be able to cover an inflated spread.

Pistons -6.5 v. Milwaukee

The Pistons are fresh off snapping a two-game losing streak and are starting a four game home stand on Monday Night. Despite being 5-8 on the season, the Pistons are 3-3 at home and are facing a putrid Milwaukee team that has lost 8 straight. The Bucks are shooting 41.3% from the floor on the season, which is the second worst percentage in the league. That percentage isn’t going to go up tonight in Detroit where they face one of the stoutest interior defenses in the NBA. The Pistons should win this one by double digits.

Bulls -4.5 @ Utah

Derrick Rose has been lost for the season and the collective basketball fan base shed a tear and poured a little champagne out for him today. The Bulls are most certainly not an NBA Finals contender any longer; however, have a ton of experience playing without Rose. Utah is the worst team in the NBA and has shown little fight this season on the road or at home. Tom Thibodeau will have the Bulls ready to fight every night and their new season begins tonight. Bulls by 12.

Los Angeles Lakeres at Dallas Mavericks

Lock of the Night: Mavericks -5.5 v. Nuggets

Dallas has been one of the more surprising teams in the NBA so far this season and sport a flawless 7-0 mark at home. While the Nuggets are 6-6 and just beat the Mavericks by two on Saturday night in Denver, they have little chance at competing defensively with the Mavericks offense in Dallas. It is a fact that role players and shooters perform better at home and the Mavericks are chalked full of role players and perimeter shooters. Look for the Mavericks role players to come up huge tonight and break out to an early lead and keep it. If you are so inclined, the Mavericks are favored by 2 in the first quarter and 3 in the first half. Both of those bets should pay out. Mavericks by 18.

Season: 0-0
