Brazilian daredevil surfer Carlos Burle may have set the world record for surfing a gigantic wall of water on Monday. Only a year after amazing Garrett McNamara set what many believed to be an impossible to beat wave by surfing a 78-foot behemoth in 2011, Burle has topped the tremendous feat. Burle surfed a mammoth wave in Nazare on Portugal’s central coast. Initial estimates have marked the wave’s height at around 100 feet tall. It doesn’t matter exactly how high the wave is finally measured at because to even attempt to tackle this mountain of water is absolutely incredible.
