Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Tamba Hali is basking in the glory of his team being undefeated, and the happiness has flowed into his tipping of waitresses. Following Kansas City’s 17-16 win over Houston this past Sunday, KCTV reported that Hali and over a dozen friends went out to a local Fogo de Chao to celebrate the win and they racked up a bill of $1,827.09 and a gratuity of $296.69 was automatically added in. Instead of just leaving and being happy with the added-in gratuity Hali added another $1,000 just because.

“It made our day. Hands down, it made our day,” waiter Joshua Roan told KCTV. “The staff was over the top. He was the last guest in the building. There was a lot of shouting and hollering after he left. We had to wait until he left. We had to keep it professional.”

After KCTV5 News at 6 p.m. aired the report, a woman on Facebook reported to KCTV5 that Hali left nearly $400 for a car wash in southern Johnson County this week.
