Kevin Garnett Cuts Ties With Boston, Lists His $4.85 Million Massachusetts Home

Ok, the “cutting of ties” isn’t really that intense, but as a diehard Brooklyn Nets fan this makes me very happy to see.  Newly acquired big man, leader, motivator, archangel, bad*ass, boss man, father figure, Kevin Garnett is has listed his Concord, Massachusetts mansion for $4.85 million.

The house makes sense for a guy like KG, and according to Realtor:

It is no surprise that Garnett, known as an extremely private person, opted for such a secluded property to call home. The contemporary residence sits on 12-plus wooded acres that overlook Howe’s Pond, offering the perfect refuge for one of basketball’s biggest stars, who became a Boston sports icon. Built in 1993, the home was designed by the same architectural firm that created the Getty Villa in Malibu, Machado and Silvetti Associates, and is described ever-so-eloquently as having “the glamour and style of California in a gorgeous New England setting.”

Besides its celebrity pedigree, Garnett’s contemporary waterfront mansion offers a total of five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and approximately 11,000 square feet. Inside, sunlit interiors feature custom finishes and luxury touches. A fully furnished lower level has a wine cellar, media room with five flat screen TVs, and a “gym fit for a champion.” The master suite comes complete with an oversized dressing room.

Let’s take a look inside, shall we?
