Colts 34- Seahawks 28

The Seahawks did almost everything right on Sunday. They got an early lead and controlled the time of possession. They ran the ball effectively, and threw pretty well.Their defense made big plays like they always do. Just about the only thing the Seahawks did not do on their way to their first loss of the season was draft Andrew Luck first overall in 2012. That is a mistake you cannot leave out there, come on Pete Carroll.

Chiefs 26- Titans 17

A year ago, if you had told me one of the best games this week was between the 4-0 Chiefs and the 3-1 Titans, I would have thought you were crazy. If you had told me that that game would feature a match up of Alex Smith versus Ryan Fitzpatrick, I would have thought you were smoking bath salts. These two quarter backs were walking dead at this point last season, so bath salts would have been the only explanation for your stupidity. Turns out you were right. Oh ya, and the Chiefs pulled off a comeback win, but I know none of you really believe in either of these teams until they make the playoffs, but then again a year ago you did not believe that bath salts could start a zombie apocalypse.

Packers 22- Lions 9

The Packers made quick work of the Calvin Johnson-less Lions keeping pace in the NFC North. The major highlight of the game was an 83 yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to James Jones. Jones attempted the Lambeau Leap after his long TD but was denied access to the stands by a Detroit Lion fan causing Jones to try the double Lambeau Leap. Having been the best run defense the Green Bay faithful have seen in Lambeau in quite some time, the Detroit fan was offered a contract in Henry Rowengartner fashion.

Bengals 13- Patriots 6

Three streaks ended in Cincinnati on Sunday. The first was the Patriots’ unbeaten streak to start the season. The second streak was Tom Brady’s 52 game streak with a passing touchdown. The Third streak to end was a three year streak of no defense getting credit for a win in the NFL.

Saints 26- Bears 18

Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham and the New Orleans Saints proved to be too much for the Chicago Bears. Even though Alshon Jeffery had a career day, it was All-Sean Payton on Sunday.

Raiders 27- Chargers 17

If you stayed up to watch this game, then you probably are not reading this article until after 3:00 P.M. If you did not stay up to watch this game, you have well adjusted priorities. Me, I was awake until the end f the game but I did not watch it, I was just afraid to go to sleep because Homeland gives me nightmares.
