By no means are we a political website, but it is hard to overlook the massive protests which are going on right now in Brazil. As many as 200,000 people have taken to protesting in the streets of Brazil’s biggest cities over rising public transport costs and the expense of staging the 2014 World Cup. The protests have been for the most part peaceful, but when your country is spending an estimated $13 billion on hosting the World Cup when many other socio-economic issues remain unresolved, tensions will run high…to say the least.
