Jason Collins took up the Red Sox on their offer for him to toss out the ceremonial first pitch, and the crowd’s reaction was as good as expected. Collins made news headlines last month for being the first openly male gay active pro athlete in any of the four major American sports.
The only thing better was the Internet’s reaction to Collins coming out.
