Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona and center fielder Michael Bourn got into a heated argument with second base umpire Tom Hallion and it was interrupted by the great equaliser just seconds later. Heading into the middle of the seventh inning, which is seventh-inning stretch time, Francona had run out onto the field to dispute an out call on an attempted stolen base by Michael Bourn. As Francona and Bourn pleaded their case with the umpire “God Bless America” started to play throughout the stadium. Being good citizens, all three parties stopped arguing momentarily and removed their hats. Home teams should take note that if they want to stop an argument, just play “God Bless America.”
