Is there a magician on the New York Mets? David Murphy obviously did not play Powerball last night because there was no winner of the $550 million jackpot. Based off of his hit last night, though, he should have played – and he probably would have won. After smacking a deep line drive against the Cardinals last night into the right field corner, Murphy somehow managed to perfectly squeeze the baseball into a crack in the wall that would make even Bozo go crazy. Finding what is probably the only seam in the entire field, Murphy slid his double right through the wall – much to the amazement and bewilderment of Carlos Beltran and his snazzy sunglasses.
