Move over, nutty sorority chick, we have a new leader in the clubhouse for Biggest Meltdown of 2013, courtesy of Kitchen Nightmares. Friday night’s episode turned into an actual nightmare for host Gordon Ramsay, who walked out on the episode – the first time that’s happened in the restaurant makeover show’s 82-episode history – after failing to make any headway with the co-owners of Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Naturally, the public backlash was swift and severe, with commenters on Reddit and Yelp! slinging heavy doses of venom towards owner Samy Bouzaglo and his wife Amy. Much to everyone’s delight, the couple fired back via the restaurant’s Facebook page, and the meltdown has been nothing short of epic:

Update No. 2: A new message post on Amy’s Facebook page claims everything is one giant hack.

Obviously our Facebook, YELP, Twitter and Website have been hacked. We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things. Thank You Amy &Samy

Obviously.
