A North Carolina woman came across a nice little surprise when she went shopping at a local Goodwill and came across a copy ‘Stadium Events’ by Bandai. The copy was the first title that Bandai released but it was immediately recalled and replaced by Nintendo’s own World Class Track Meet. Apparently the company removed all copies of Stadium Events and destroyed as many as they could find, except this one apparently (and a few others).
According to Complex:
The last known copy of Stadium Eventssold on eBay for close to $12k.
The copy of Stadium Events is in near perfect condition and will be posted on eBay soon according to the Save Point Video Games Facebook page. ” I nearly fainted and was too dazzled to make a legitimate offer,” the poster’s comment said. “She will be getting it VGA graded and you might see it on eBay sometime soon.”
Not a bad ROI.
