Bryce Harper smashed a first-inning solo home run in his first at-bat of the season to get the Nationals off to a fast start as took a 1-0 lead over the Miami Marlins. Bryce decided that one home run wasn’t enough so during his second at-bat in the 4th inning he hit another solo shot giving the Nationals a 2-0 lead. Fantasy owners of Bryce Drew are rejoicing around the world as after two at-bats, Bryce Harper’s slugging percentage is 4.000 and he’s on pace for 324 home runs. Harper is the 95th player since 1916 to belt two homers on opening day.
It looks like both the Marlins and Bryce are in mid-season form, apparently.
