With all of the focus on the Jarome Iginla trade last night, this incredible fight between super heavy weights Brian McGrattan and Patrick Bordeleau has gone virtually unrecognized. Both of these guys may have forgotten what it’s like to win games on a regular basis, but they sure haven’t forgotten how to fight.
The Flames, minus Iginla, managed to squeak out a 4-3 win over the Avalanche, who can’t seem to catch a break. Following the loss, Matt Duchene told the Denver Post, “It’s a joke. It’s embarrassing. I don’t know what’s going on. . .They get in at 3 in the morning after a loss and they want it more than us. It just can’t be that way.”
