A soccer match in Switzerland was rudely interrupted by one of the cutest sharp-toothed marten’s that we have ever seen this Sunday. A match between Thun and FC Zurich was halted momentarily as a wild sharp-toothed marten ran wild on the pitch eluding refs and players. It wasn’t until Zurich defender Loris Benito made an incredible diving save on the wild animal that the game was able to resume. As you can see from the below video, Loris made a great dive to grab the animal but he was promptly bitten for his efforts. Somehow the little guy was able to escape from the grasp of the Zurich player and ran free for a little while longer. Finally, Davide Da Costa, the team’s keeper was able to wrangle the marten and play was resumed.
