I mentioned earlier that I needed to step up my game in terms of watching the AHL, but it looks like I should actually expand my horizons a bit further to include the KHL. We consistently see videos of some crazy happenings over in Russia, and the latest goodness is a goalie slashing another player in the groin.

The incident occurred in a first round playoff game between Ak Bars Kazan and Neftekhimik, and it was a nasty one. Check out Neftekhimik goaltender Matt Dalton who decided that Alexei Tereshchenko was in his way, and he used an unorthodox method to remove Alexie from his path of vision. As expected Dalton received a five-minute major, loss of man card and a game misconduct
