Bobby Knight and Rece Davis called the Vanderbilt and Kentucky men’s basketball game last night on ESPN and the ending was baffling for the former Indiana basketball coach. Bobby was having a hard time telling the difference between the game clock and the shot clock in reference to Nerlens Noel’s made bucket with 17.3 seconds left. It was very clear that the clock hit zero, and Nerlens shot shouldn’t have counted. Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings was none too pleased with the outcome, and rightfully so. Watch the video especially starting around the 50-second mark, and you will understand the Knight struggle. Kentucky held on to win 60-58.
