Rumor has it that the NHL will be up and running come January 19th, but in the meantime, there’s plenty of good hockey being played in other leagues. If I’ve learned anything valuable from the NHL lockout, it’s that the Southern Professional Hockey League goes hard. The following video is nearly four minutes of nonstop fighting between the Mississippi Surge and the Huntsville Havoc…and not the kind of fighting that you’d see in the NHL. Just when you think it’s over, someone throws another punch and it starts back up again. 129 penalty minutes were handed out after the brawl, 29 of them going to the idiot that grabbed his stick and started using it as a weapon.
