MMA fighters are certainly no strangers to pain, but the injury former Ultimate Fighter contestant Ray Elbe sustained this weekend would make even the Octagon’s toughest cringe.
(That should serve as fair warning to you, as the details below are absolutely brutal…especially if you’re a guy.)
A few weeks ago, Elbe reportedly fractured his penis while having sex with his girlfriend, who was “on top” and accident bounced a little too high before coming down and crushing Elbe’s erection
He explains the details via video on his website:
“I ended up fracturing my penis bone … I tore the urinary tract, tore some membrane — as it happened you can imagine the shock and the horror that was going on,” Elbe said in a video posted to his website on Sunday. “I jumped up from the intimate moment, blood shooting out of my groin. I immediately tried to run to the shower, felt myself losing consciousness, tried to walk back to the bed at which point I collapsed, knocking myself out. I gave myself 10 stitches and fractured a couple teeth.”
Elbe was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to close the wound and repair a “slight tear” in his urinary tube. He said the pain was so severe after the surgery that he could feel the wound “throbbing with each heart beat.” He’s expected to make a full recovery and has been ordered to take “anti-erection pills” for two weeks. I didn’t even know those existed. Couldn’t they have just given him an album full of Khloe Kardashian photos? Probably a much cheaper option.
I know you’re feeling quite sorry for Elbe at this point, but the story has a bit of a happy ending.
“In an attempt to make it up to me … [my girlfriend] has promised me a threesome of my choice when we get to the Philippines, which usually has some solid talent,” said Elbe.
Hold your little buddies close tonight, boys.
