Chris Johnson broke off a 94-yard touchdown run during the second quarter of the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans’ Monday Night Football game, and his shoes did more than just carry him all that way. Johnson hand wrote the names of each of the Newtown victims on his shoes to honor them. When the ESPN cameras zoomed in on the shoes, you could tell that a few folks in Newtown felt, at least a second or two, like they weren’t alone in mourning.
