Rick Pitino Answers A Cell Phone — Not His — During Post Game Press Conference

Louisville head coach Rick Pitino was clearly in a jovial mood after his Cardinals hammered the University of Missouri-Kansas City 99-47 on Saturday. His post game press conference was interrupted by a very loud ringing cell phone, and without missing a beat, Pitino answered, much to the delight of the room full of reporters. The woman on the other end had no idea it was Pitino, and even after informing her he was in the middle of a press conference, she asked him out for a drink — he declined, citing duties on the recruiting trail. However, Pitino did keep her on the line when handing the phone back to its rightful owner — WNDA radio host Bob Domine — along with the message: “Some people want to have a drink with you, Bob. And they want to meet at Jeff Ruby’s [Steakhouse].”
