Drew Gooden Asked Fans to Send Him Pictures of Bulls Jerseys in the Toilet for a Chance to Win Tickets to Bucks-Bulls Game [Pics]

Milwaukee Bucks’ forward Drew Gooden held an unusual contest via his Twitter account before Monday night’s game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls. Gooden, who played two seasons with the Bulls, tweeted that he would give away two tickets to the game to the first person that sent him a picture of a Bulls jersey in a toilet.

The winner? Zack Krupp with the Kirk Hinrich jersey.

This contest may have been a little shot at his former team, but Gooden says it was all in fun. He and his former teammate – Bulls’ center Joakim Noah – exchanged some friendly fire before the game and it was obvious the two were still friends.

 

 

 

But it was Gooden’s Bucks that made a huge comeback, putting together a 42-14 run to overcome being down 78-51 with 2:50 to play in the 3rd quarter. So far, it’s Gooden – 1, Bulls – 0.

Although this wouldn’t be my first choice when putting together a contest with my fans (if I had any), but, hey, at least it’s original? Nonetheless, it’s always good to see professional athletes connecting with their fans and giving them a chance to do something they might otherwise not be able to do — even if it involves putting something in a toilet.
