One of the weirdest technical fouls you will ever see happened during Tuesday night’s preseason NBA game between The Miami Heat and the Charlotte Bobcats. LeBron James drove down the lane and went directly after defender, Gerald Henderson. Henderson got called for the blocking foul on LeBron James, which seemed like the right call but somehow LeBron was called for a technical foul. Erik Spoelstra also got a technical for arguing the call on the play for good measure.
We have to assume that the ref thought LeBron went after Henderson in a malicious manner, but even that seems far fetched.
