The Oakmont Vikings took on the Fighting Zebras this past week, and the final play call was the talk of the town following, and for good reason. With the Fighting Zebras leading 43-36, Oakmont drove 78 yards in just 1:11 seconds and scored a TD with no time on the clock to put them within one point. Coach Moore decided to go for it all, but threw some trickery in along with the two-pint conversion. The team lined up in a normal extra point formation, but when holder and quarterback Taylor Laird received the long snap he flipped the ball over his back into the endzone where Justin Holmes somehow was and he came down with the winning two points. That play call was one which could have backfired very quickly, but this time it worked perfectly and sealed a win.
