Arkansas coach John L. Smith spoke with the media Monday just two days following the Razorbacks’ 52-0 defeat to Alabama last Saturday and things got weird. In an attempt to possibly remove any weirdness in the room, the coach did the exact opposite during the first thirty seconds of sitting down. The coach made reference to the glum demeanor in the room and told everybody to smile or he wouldn’t talk. Maybe coach just has a weird sense of humor that I am unaware of, but it doesn’t change the fact that I felt very uncomfortable after watching the presser.
