David Akers of the San Francisco 49ers tied the NFL record for longest field goal when he hit a 63-yard field goal to end the half to put the 49ers up 16-7 over the Green Bay Packers.  David Akers joined the ranks of  Tom Dempsey (1970), Jason Elam (1998),  and Sebastian Janikowski (2011) for the record of longest NFL field goal.  You can view the video below, but we are not sure if he called bank or not.
