The Denver Nuggets Are Your Newest Comic Book Heroes

The Denver Nuggets recently put out an online comic book called “Adventures in Nuggets Nation”. It stars some Nuggets players, George Karl, and the mascot, Rocky.

Each of the players have their own superhero identities: Hotshot (Gallinari), Tynomite (Lawson),  Big Mozzy (Mozgov), Stretch McGee (McGee), Manimal (Faried), and Igoudala (Andre Igoudala — original, huh?).

The first issue involves George Karl assembling the team to talk “teamness”. Whatever that means.

The Nuggets organization is probably banking on the success of the summer comic book inspired movies. However, I think they should go all out and give George Karl a Nick Fury eye patch.

Check out the rest of the comic at the Nuggets’ Facebook page.
